Call for Highlights Track

InCoB 2018 call for Highlights presentation proposals
We invite proposals for "Highlights" presentations at the conference.  Highlights presentations are author presentations of their recently published research work. The number of Highlights track presentations is limited and the criterion of acceptance for such presentations will be much more stringent than the regular papers and posters accepted for InCoB 2018.

The Highlights proposals must be based on work that has been published as an original research paper in a high impact peer-reviewed journal after June 1, 2017. Unpublished and In Press papers, which are already accepted for publication by such a journal will also be considered.

Results published in multiple related papers can also be presented as a combined work, as long as one of the papers included qualifies by the above criteria.

The intent of the highlights track is to attract talks of broad interest to complement the often-technical nature of the full conference paper (also known as proceedings) track. The call is open to not only the first authors, but also to the corresponding or middle authors.  The proposal must indicate which author plans to deliver the talk.

Please note that the presenting author must register and pay for the conference At the most one oral presentation will be allowed for one accepted submission in Highlights track.

Proposals should include a concise description of the published work with full citation with an indication of why the talk based on this work would appeal to InCoB participants.

Proposals to the Highlights track should be submitted in the attached template through the online form at the URL on top of this page.

All Highlights proposals will be reviewed and authors will be informed if their abstract was accepted in this category.

Call for Poster Presentation

InCoB 2018 call for Poster presentation proposals

We invite you to submit a one page abstract based on which they will present a poster at IncoB 2018.

As in all other presentations, the presenting author must register and pay for the conference. Some of the Poster presenters may be selected for a flash Oral presentation.

Posters describe original or in progress work of the authors and may present an overall research summary of the lab from which it is submitted. Templates, guidelines and submission are available at the URL on top of this page.

All poster abstracts will be reviewed and authors will be informed if their abstract was accepted in this category.

Brief call for papers (closed now)

Please include in your submission a cover letter indicating for which journal your paper should be considered out of the choices available below.

Note 1:

If you only want to present a poster in the InCoB. we will shortly post a Call for posters with instructions on how to do it. For a poster only request of participation, full paper submission is NOT needed.

For now, call for full paper is provided below. However, submissions made under full paper category may be rejected as full papers and accepted by the program committee for a poster presentation only.

Note 2:

The publications charges will be collected by respective journals and are typically about 50% lower (for BMC) than those of the usual publication charges for regular articles. Exact figure will be available via BMC. If you wish to publish without an open access charge, please submit your paper by choosing "Computational Biology and Chemistry" as a the journal choice (see below).

Note 3

Quick submission liniks (please include cover letters, detailing the choice of journal with your submission and upload a single PDF file in all your submissions. Please prepare your manuscript file with all figures inside the main manuscript file.) :

Supplementary materials can be combined for submission being made into a single zipped file for upload. (this feature was not available for BMC submissions, which has not been upgraded, so it is available for all journals now).

For BMC journals editorial manager will be available after preliminary screening and supplementary material is not needed at this stage.
